How do I Convert CKB to USDC Stablecoin in the United States?
How do I go from CKB to Fiat into my Bank Account?
One of my subscribers wanted a tutorial on how to cash out in the United States if they already own CKB. There are a lot of ways to do this, but for the purposes of this post, we will show you how to convert your CKB to USDC using the following exchanges:
CKB Wallet (personal)
KuCoin
Coinbase
Your first step is to send your CKB from wherever it is stored to the KuCoin exchange. In this example I have CKB located in my Portal Wallet in imKey.
Posts on how to use the imKey wallet are below:
I will send the funds to KuCoin as shown below:
Next, you must transfer your funds from your Main account to your Trading account.
Enter the amount you want to trade and click Confirm. I now have CKB in my trading account to convert to USDC.
We will now choose the CKB/USDT pair.
Next, I will enter my trading password and sell my CKB to USDT.
Since I am selling such a small amount, I will simply do a Market order. If you are selling a larger amount, you will want to use a limit order to guarantee it sells at your price (see below)
I now have USDT in my account as shown below.
Next, I will convert to USDC because I have heard of issues with USDT and Coinbase. I just like to be careful and I know Coinbase has great support for USDC.
Open the trading pair USDT/USDC. You can either do a Market or Limit Order depending on the size of your trade.
You now have USDC as shown below:
Click Transfer to transfer back to your Main Account.
Click Confirm and you are now ready to withdraw your funds to Coinbase.
Open Coinbase and browse to the USDC asset. Copy the Receive address.
Now go back to KuCoin and click Withdraw.
Once your funds show up in Coinbase, you can sell your USDC coin to USD and withdraw to your Bank account.
