Most People are not Crypto Ballers
I am not a crypto baller. I am like most average people who lost money in 2022. I got rugged on an NFT and lost a chunk of change. 2002 made me “Crypto Tired”.
I mostly write about crypto and the cool tech and treat Bitcoin like a small savings account.
The fees to buy and sell are outrageous, but I like being in the mix. Imagine owning .02 BTC; in 10 years, it’s worth 10k. How fun!
One of my favorite things is buying a few dollars of Bitcoin on Cash App. It is super fun and super easy (see below).
I also like buying stocks on the Cash app as well. Check it out. I bought 20.00 of Coinbase (fractional shares) and I am up 40% .
See how I like to dabble?
I don’t have a lot of extra cash for investing, but I like to learn and dabble to teach my followers. Imagine if you scaled up.
I have a lot of cool tech from my writing but not much cryptocurrency. Like most people, I make more conservative investments for my retirement, like Stocks, Mutual Funds, and 401(K). I dabble in the crypto space because I am curious and find it fascinating. I do many crazy little things to teach my followers. The things I show make money at scale but not when you play with 10.00.
I have been writing about cryptocurrency for many years. I like to review hardware wallets and cool crypto tech, but I am not a heavy player. I like to dabble. I track small amounts of crypto in many wallets in my Koinly tax software. It is all automated, so there is not much for me to do once I hook up the APIs.
Here is an example of what Koinly can do for you. It pulls in your trades and calculates them accordingly. In this scenario, I purchased some Apecoin to teach people how to use Uniswap. I got slammed on fees, but it was a training opportunity.
You can tag them as rewards or income and have a complete picture. I would not buy any crypto without this software. It is worth its weight in gold. It has support for tons of wallets.
You can purchase it here with my affiliate link. I make a few dollars for complete transparency if you purchase through me. I do appreciate the support if you use my link.
I will share more tips on Koinly, as I like playing with it. I can show you how to tag your transactions properly. I have a goal of 10,000 subscribers, so tell your friends and family about my blog, and I will also start doing reviews on cool tech.
I just received a Trezor Keep from the company to write a review. Stay Tuned.
Are you a dabbler or a big-time investor?
